The Quick Change Ring is available as an optional accessory for use with the Baader T2 Quick Changer. It has an optical length of 4mm. Once side of the ring features a T2 thread. The other a Zeiss micro bayonet. The T2 threaded side also features a small plastic washer. Internally the ring is matt black.

When used with the Quick Changer, the ring allows you the option of a high load capacity quick release or rotation system.

The Baader Quick Changer is a T2 accessory for use the the Baader T2 Quick Change Ring. Together with this the two parts provide a heavy duty solution for quick connection or rotation of T2 accessories. The optical length of the Quick Changer is 11mm. The Quick Changer is also available as a complete kit including the Change Ring.

The Baader T2 Quick Changer / Rotator Kit allows for easy connection of T2 accessories to your system through use of the efficient and heavy duty Zeiss micro bayonet system. In addition the kit can be used as a heavy duty rotator. The nominal optical length of the system is 15mm. We recommend this kit if looking for a rotation system for cameras / filter wheels that are heavier than a typical DSLR. The locking system is very positive but also easy to unlock and adjust thanks to the generous size of the lock screw. The kit is also available as its seperate components.

Visual Back T2 to 1.25"

If you wish to attach eyepieces or other accessories with a 1.25" barrel to an existing T2 thread then this adaptor is for you. It also features an additional T-2 Male Thread. This then allows you to attach T2 extension tubes and then use the adapter for eyepiece projection.

When imaging it is often possible to find that stars are not sharp in all corners or when solar imaging that Newtons Rings appear. Some possible causes of this problem are

- Tilted camera sensor (fragments of a millimetre are enough)

- Tilted focuser

- Tilted focal plane of the telescope (common in Newtonian telescopes)

- Tilted optical accessories from poor clamping

- Perfectly aligned camera sensor and etalon in solar imaging causing a standing wave

The T2 tilt adjuster is a simple means to align a camera's sensor is with the focal plane no matter what causes the tilt or to add tilt to prevent Newtons Rings.

To use simply identify the "bad corner" in your photo and begin adjusting the tilt adapter as follows.

1. Loosen the counter screws (the small setting screws)

2. Slightly turn the adjustment screws close to the "bad corner"

3. Take a second image. If the situation has become worse, turn the adjustment screw in the other direction until the image is satisfying.

4. Finally, tighten the counter screws again.

For removal of Newtons rings simply apply tilt until the problem is removed

Through use of the M48 to T2 adapter you can connect many accessories to the common T2 standard. M48 accessories are not as common as the T2 standard but M48 is typically used on larger accessories. This requires the use of an adapter like this one.

Through use of the T2 to C/CS adapter you can connect many accessories of the common T2 standard to your camera that has a C or CS thread*.

* The C/CS thread is identical. The distinction is that cameras quoting the C thread have 17.5mm backfocus from the thread end to the sensor and for the CS (C Short) it is 12.5mm.

This adapter has an effective length of 4mm excluding the C/CS thread. The C/CS thread is 2mm long.

T2 Adapter which screws into a Hyperion, Morpheus or APM UFF eyepiece thread (M43) and provides a T2 thread for T2 camera mounts

The benefit to being able to mount you camera body directly to the eyepiece for projection photography is that it allows you to make use of the additional magnification an eyepiece offers over prime focus setups. It will also provide much better results than Afocal photography. Afocal is when you use your cameras lens to focus on the image in the eyepiece

Telescope-sided with M43 x 1 male thread, e.g. for Vixen instruments. Eyepiece-sided with T-2 (M42 x 0,75) male thread. This connection ring allows you to connect a binoviewer or a ClickLock® eyepiece directly to the focuser with M43 x 1 female thread (Vixen Thread). Optical path length only 3 mm.
