Description
A must have accessory for all solar observing and imaging. The SB2 Solar Blade is a solar shield that will fit to telescope tubes of 80-200mm diameter. It secures to the tube with a velcro strap that can be cut to length.
As can be seen from the image above, the solar blade creates a shadow over the observing area. Dark adaption is important for solar observing as it allows the observer to maximise contrast and see the most detail. The Solar Blade creates the ideal enviroment for observing in addition to protecting the observer from the Sun.
