The Double T2 Thread with 1.25" insert has many uses. It can be used as a thread gender changer, or for inserting a filter inside any T2 based imaging train. A use we carry this adapter for specifically is fo allowing a 1.25" barlow cell to be fitted inside the front aperture of the Pierro Astro ADC MkIII. This allows the least back focus to be used and therefore make fine adjustments to magnification.
The Double T2 Thread features a plastic ring to provide spacing or a lock facility. This ring can also be removed.
