Clamp Options - M8 Mounting holes spaced at 35mm are available on both the side and top mounting positions to support a wide range of clamps

The Panther Lite is an excellent manual Alt-Az mount offering a very versitile platform for a variety of optical systems. When partnered with digital setting circles such as the Astro Devices Nexus, it offers precise 'Push To' functionality.

Notes:

The Panther Lite is not supplied with

Saddle Clamps. We suggest this GP Clamp for Vixen style plates and this model for the larger Losmandy format. Other options are available. Please contact us for details.

Counterweights. The Panther Lite can be used without counterweights depending on the weight of the optical system used. For optimum performance, weights are recommended. These are available in 4kg and 8kg sizes.

The Panther Lite can be fixed to a suitable tripod as it uses a standard 3/8" fixing. For tripod use we recommend the Berlebach UNI with DM4 Head as these provide an ideal base for the head. Alternatively the Panther Lite is fully compatible with the Track the Stars Pier. When using this with side mounting, we recommend adding the Track the Stars Pier Extension for added comfort.
