Baader Planetarium 1.25" Extension

There is often a problem with off-axis systems or folding mirror attachments, where the receptacles of normal eyepieces is just 1-2cm too short to be able to adjust the sharpness level properly. Equally where OAG systems are use with cameras having large back focus, the guiding camera must be placed further back than the end of the OAG. This extension solves this problem by allowing you to extend the nose of the camera or eyepiece.

These extensions are also useful additions for use with our range of APM Binoculars where there is a requirement to focus on nearby terrestrial subjects such as in wildlife observing.

Optical path length 18.5mm 1¼" filter thread on both sides and can be screwed into almost every 1¼" eyepiece.

The inner dimensions are prepared for holding the lenses of Baader Planetarium glass path correctors 1:1.25 and 1:1.7
