This compendium allows you to use the much more rigid M68 extension to mount T2 accessories such as the Baader FFC Barlow and TZ telecentric systems without having to use 2" nose piece attachments. This removes tilt as a possibility and prevents unecessary stress on the FFC / TZ component, particularly in Solar Imaging systems.

Note:

In the stock images shown above, a Solar Spectrum filter is shown fitted to the Compendium using a 2" nose piece. While this is possible, we recommend using either a T2 or 2" SC thread option as this will provide a much more tilt resistant option.

The image showing a complete system also suggest use with a Baader Clicklock eyepiece. We do not recommend this for use with Solar Spectrum based systems. This is because the ideal eyepiece focal length is normally 2x the system f ratio. As solar systems should run at F30, this equates to a 60mm eyepiece. In reality ones in the range of 40-55mm work well.
