Flat Field / Binocular Eyepieces

These eyepieces are ideally suited for use with telescopes that have focal ratios lower than F7 and binoculars. When eyepieces designed for use with focal ratios above F7/F8 are used in much lower focal ratio systems, they will exhibit distortion around the edge of field. As such, APM Telescopes range of UFF eyepieces are optimised for low focal ratio systems and particularly binoculars which can be as low as F5.5. With such systems they retain an ultra flat and sharp starfield across the field of view.

The UFF range also feature compact dimensions which make them more practical when used in binocular / binoviewer applications where two eyepieces are side by side.

All UFF eyepieces feature threads for digiscoping or can be used with our range of digiscoping adapters.
