Ritchey Chretien Astrographs

The Ritchey-Chretien uses Hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors to remove optical errors and provide a large flat field for imaging without correctors. Correctors are available to provide even bigger flat fields and also focal reduction. Due to the possibility of use without additional optical correctors, the RC has become the instrument of choice professionally as it provides greater flexibility, accuracy and consistancy for astrometry applications. The RC telescopes we offer are truly state of the art. Not only do they feature the highest quality optics, but the complete telescope design is engineered to be thermally stable.
