This adaptor fits on almost all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, many Maksutov-Cassegrains, and also several other instruments and setups with SC male thread (UNC 2"-24).
The adapter then converts to an M48 male thread (2" filter thread).This adaptor can be used to attach accessories with 2" filter thread to instruments with SC thread such as;
- Adaptation of some 2" star diagonals to instruments with SC thread
- Adaption of the Baader Solar Tele-Compressor to fit diagonals or direct to the Daystar ION or Quantum Solar FIlter
- Adaption of SC threads for M48 accessories
