The QHY5L-II-C is a classic small CMOS camera with excellent 74% QE. It's low cost make it very suitable as a first camera for starting with Solar System imaging with it offering up to 106FPS in ROI (Region of Interest) mode.
For those wanting to enter the worl of planetary imaging this camera makes a great first start. It offers fantastic value and may even end up being the only camera you ever use! If you do upgrade then then the flexibility of the QHY5L-II-C means it can be equarlly useful as a guide camera for DSO imaging.
For guiding applications it has a built in guide port for use with legacy systems using ST-4. Common guide applications like PHD2 natively support the QHY5L-II for Ascom or Pulse Guiding.
Overall an excellent allround camera and fantastic value.
