Customer ratings for Optec / Astrograph ThirdLynx UXF Motor Kit for United Optics 2.5" & 3.7" Focusers

I have an APM 140mm doublet with the 3.7” focuser and fitted this motor after taking advice from Astrograph and Optec. I had previously been using a lower cost motor working off the fine focus side and after I added a motorised rotator and filter wheel it was slipping frequently especially around zenith. I fitted the Optec instead and its operation has been flawless. Mechanical installation is easy and after a brief bit of faffing with drivers and settings it works well with the NINA auto focus routines. It has not let me down once. It needs a 12V power supply in addition to a usb data connection and a usb to dc adapter is provided for power though I power it from one of the DC outs on a Pegasus power box.
