The Berlebach Spica is a small and light Alt-Az mount for binoculars, scopes teleskopes and cameras. It has a load capacity of up to 5kg when used with a single load or without a counterweight. If used with an optional countweight shaft / counterweight or with an addition clamp to fit a second scope on the opposite side, the max load increases to as much as 20kg.
The Spica features a friction control to adjust the tension of the Altitude axis and is supplied with a clamp for use with Vixen GP style dovetails. The other side of the mount provides a connection for mounting a second Clamp, Counterweight shaft or a quick release coupling for a camera/ spotting scope
