APM 2"/1.25" Deluxe Clamp

The APM Deluxe 2" / 1.25" Adapter is a verstile and useful accessory. The main barrel fits the 2" throat of a focuser. It has a safety undercut. The end of the adapter has an M48 thread for use with 2" filters.

The eyepiece end of the adapter feature a self centering brass collar. This is vastly superior to the normal single screw brass compression ring. These can become distorted and catch on the eyepiece undercut causing jamming. They also offset the eyepiece preventing correct alignment and centering of eyepieces or cameras. The Deluxe clamp suffers from none of these problems. Typical APM quality ensures it will last a lifetime.

The Deluxe clamp offers an extra benefit. If the collar is unscrewed, it reveals a T2 thread allowing direct mounting of cameras or extension tubes to the barrel. Excellent value for money.
