Imaging Filters 36mm
36mm sensors are a lower cost alternative to 2" filters. Normally for sensors of APS-C size and above a 2" filter is needed because the distance from filter to sensor would cause vignetting. This tends not to be a problem with 36mm filters and allows a useful saving in cost.
