The Moravian Instruments G4-16000 Monochrome CCD Camera has a large format 36x36mm 16MP sensor featuring a low noise, high quantum efficiency Kodak KAF-16803 CCD Sensor.

The G4-16000 is not available with an internal filter wheel due to the size of the sensor. It is therefore recommend to use a 5-position external filter that would hold 50x50mm square filtersas these will result in vignetting-free images. 50x50mm square filters from Astronomik are available separately.

The new EC Model has a redesigned chassis with higher capacity cooling compared to the standard model. This achieves a 5°C improvement in cooling below ambient which typically reduces dark current effects by half.

G4 CCD cameras are supplied in a foam-filled, hard carrying case containing the camera body with a user chosen optional telescope adapter.

An M68x1 adapter is included by default

Canon EOS and other camera adapters are available separately

100-240 V AC input, 12 V DC output “brick” adapter with 1.8 m long power cable.

5 m long USB A-B cable for connecting camera to host PC

CD-ROM or USB Flash Drive containing camera drivers, SIPS software package with electronic documentation and PDF version of User's Manual.
