This is an offer for our demonstration ASA N250. This is because ASA have now discontinued all Astrographs below 400mm. Despite this being an absolutley stunning scope, we can only justify keeping demonstration equipment that are current models. This N250 is currently located in Spain at our remote hosting location, e-Eye. The scope can be demonstrated to show its performance. It is supplied with a flight case. ASA Astrographs – High Quality, Stable, Perfect

ASA Astrographs have been developed with the help of experience from some of the leading astrophotographers of our time. The correctors are designed by Dipl. Phys Philipp Keller and have been perfected by use of high end materials. ASA Astrographs offer perfect image performance over a large field of view, are lightweight but stiff and have very fast focal ratio.

The tube is produced using high grade carbon fibre with internal velvet flocking. The carbon construction offers very low thermal expansion and great rigidity. This ensures that focus is very stable and there is no detectable tube flexure. As standard, the telescope is supplied with the ASA AAF3 3" Motorised focuser which has a load capacity of 9kg. The focuser is fitted with an absolute encoder and offers stepless functionality.

The ASA Astrograph has a very fast focal ratio. This offers good signal to noise ratio with short exposure times. Through the uncompromising optical design of Philipp Keller, the corrector lens system deployed can handle large format sensors. Even the largest sensors will have perfect correction all the way to the corners.

The N-Series Astrograph employs a parabolic main mirror.. By switching the corrector lens system, the focal length of the telescope can be shortened or extended with minimum effort.

With the supplied 3” Wynne corrector, F3.6 is achieved. By using the 2” Reducer, this is lowered to only F2.75. ASA's dedicated barlow is no longer available. However we can offer the APM 1.6x Photo Visual Barlow (also designed by Philipp Keller) as a substitute. This provides a focal ratio of F6. Still fast but now also offering a focal length of 1520mm

All ASA Astrographs are manufactured from superior Suprax glass and polished to an accuracy of P/V = 1/7 Lambda. The coating is an advanced aluminium coating employing enhanced multi-layered overcoats to increase the reflectivity of telescope mirrors to 97% over a wide range of the visible spectrum. All secondary mirrors are made to the same specification.

All ASA Telescopes now feature ASA Optics which are made in house to the highest standards. You will find no finder reflective optics on the market.

ASA Astrographs are in a completley different league to a standard Newtonian. The exceptional design and build means collimation, once done, stays done leaving you to enjoy capturing faint targets with outstanding contrast.


The ASA N250 is supplied with Tube Rings, AAF3 3" Motorised Focuser with Absolute Encoder and 3" Wynne Corrector. In addition an adapter plate is required to fix your camera to the corrector. Custom made adaption with specific back focus is available. Alternatively we offer an adapter that terminates in M48 for subsequent additional adaption to a camera.


The OTA can be fitted with a dovetail plate on the top and bottom of the rings. This is via 5mm screws. When used with an ASA Mount the Telescope can be fixed directly to the mount.
