Mini Alt-Az Mount Counterweight System with 2 weights

This mini counterweight system is extremely versitile. It comprises;

1 x Alt-Azimuth style head with 3/8" fitting

1 x Counterweight shaft that can be split into two sections

1 x Small Head with quick release clamp and 1/4" fixing

2 x 0.5kg counterweights

This counterweight system can be mounted to all popular travel mounts thanks to its 3/8" fixing. If used with a a relatively light system then the supplied head with quick release clamp can be used to secure a telescope or camera. Alternatively you can replace the head with a small GP style clamp such as our Berlebach Clamp.

The supplied counterweights allow you to balance a load of up approx 4.5kg. The counterweight may also be moved through the head and rotated for the optimum position. We highly recommend this counterweight system for use with any travel mount and particularly the Fornax Lightrack.
